Canine Cuisine began on the ACU farm in Northern NSW — not as a business plan, but as a necessity. Dolph Cooke, Dean of Green and founder of the Australian Cannabis University, found himself responsible for 16 high-drive working dogs: Dutch Shepherd, Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd, and American Staffordshire Terrier crosses with one job — to guard a legal cannabis operation from those who would take it.
Commercial dog food wasn't cutting it. The fillers. The chemicals. The compounding health problems. The vet bills that follow. He did what he always does — ignored the system and built something better himself.

The largest of the December litter. Lost on day thirteen to a nipple malformation. Named Unicorn because that is exactly what he was. Buried on the land, under the clothesline. His memory lives in every batch of food made for the pack he never got to grow up with.
